DOUGLAS PATENTED No 60 TORQUE WRENCH
-The "No-Hub" wrench measures torque when it is turned in the clockwise (right hand) direction and ratchets when turned counterclockwise. When the band screw is correctly tightened, the wrench releases so that the handle can continue turning but the drive socket can not. Additional turning results only in additional clicking - but not additional tightening
-The proper way to test a "No-Hub" joint is by the pressure test. It has been determined that 48 inch pounds is the minimum torque for an adequate joint. The "No-Hub" wrench tightens to 60 inch pounds so as to assure a proper installation
